Still Loving Lost
Lost continues to tie up loose ends, bind characters together, and generally kick ass. The hobbit now faces a BIG temptation, while Mr. Eko finds a little closure on a dark part of his past.
In unrelated news, I just flopped into my office chair, and the chair rolled into the desk, smashing the tip of my pinkie between them. OUCH!
One more day, then a three-day weekend. (Sigh of bliss...)
Listening to Bush Doctor by Peter Tosh. I think it's his most melodic album, his least angry, and the one least covered in a haze of pot smoke. The album includes (You Gotta Walk) Don't Look Back, his duet with some white guy named Mick Jagger. Don't know what became of that guy. Singing with Peter Tosh must have been the peak of his career.

Here am what me think Tim Burton was going for....
In movie, space vortex am spotted spitting out all of earths radio signals from all time. Marky Mark sends monkey in little spaceship out to see what it am and loses monkey. Then Marky Mark go through vortex few minutes later but wrecks his little ship on other side. In middle of big talking ape adventure we learn that big mothership space station that Marky Mark's little ship come from ALSO went through vortex, but days or weeks after Marky Mark. So what ever go through last on MAN side of vortex come out first on APE side and time between travelers am greatly expanded, so we find that Marky Marks mothership crashed here thousands of years ago and all the talking apes here now evolved from them smart monkeys on big ship. Now Marky Mark am here and have adventure. So also whatever go through vortex first on man side come through last on ape side and due to expanded nature of time in vortex, since Marky Mark go through minutes after monkey, monkey come out on this side days AFTER Marky Mark. Monkey land him little ship safe and this am the little ship that Marky Mark take back to our side of vortex. (interesting note: since Marky Mark go back through vortex minutes after monkey show up... he then should show up on MAN side of vortex SECONDS BEFORE little monkey disappear. But nobody am there to see him anyway.) Now Marky Mark land back on earth and we see bad Tim Burton ending that confuse so many people until you realize that planet of talking apes were Marky Mark was really WAS earth, but tens or hundreds of thousands of years in the PAST! Time vortex go backward! By big mothership and little monkey being left there by Marky Mark, dawn of man am now dawn of apes and all of earth history am now attributed to talking apes and the greatest one of all have statue of him that Marky Mark see. This also explain why all the cop and fireman apes look so scared of Marky Mark because maybe all humans been extinct since then.
(It do raise all kind of paradox question... that why me think it sucks.)

That's actually a lot more clear for me. Now, did Tim Burton do all this on purpose, or does he leave the viewer to figure all this out? I need to watch it again, but I don't WANT to watch it again!
