Wow
This morning I went in to work a little later than usual, as I have to stay a little later this afternoon for a meeting. As I was leaving I kissed the wife goodbye, kissed the littlest one goodbye, and said bye to H, who was busy playing with some toys. He said bye and we blew each other kisses.
As I was backing out of the driveway, the front door opened and the wife waved for me to come back. Getting out of the car, I saw the 4-year-old sitting on the floor crying.
"He said he didn't get to hug you," the wife explained.
It was sad to see, but can you imagine how special that made me feel? I really think my day peaked at 7:45 this morning.
