Your Sighness
Holy heck this week...
Major screw-up at work will result in at least a $1,000 repair job.
Water heater will need replacing sooner rather than later.
The sump pump trips the circuit every time it turns on. Need an electrician or a plumber or both to figure this out.
One of the cats has ear mites so bad it looks like tumors inside his ears.
Luckily this is all fixable, one way or another. Nothing is life or death.
Breathe.

Smile
My day may have just peaked at 6:45 a.m. Our youngest is 22 months old, and has been slower to talk than his older brother. L and I have both been a bit worried about it, and I know that we have separately looked up the milestones and where he should be with language. The one he wasn't doing was putting simple two-word sentences together, which he should be doing by 24 months.
Well, this morning as I was leaving he puckered up for a kiss and then said, "Dada, bye."
Boom.
Day made.
That will probably keep me smiling in the office all day.

Odd times
So recently the parts of my life that made me anxious have been calming me, and the parts of my life that used to calm me are making me anxious. Strange days indeed.
