The Louis Vuitton bag was $700. It was CANVAS! At the time, I was carrying a messenger bag I had bought at Old Navy for $10. But they had recently sold their condo for a huge profit, and her husband is getting a new car this week, so she can get whatever she wants.

My biggest purchase in NY was a t-shirt with the Green Lantern logo on it. We still own at least one too many houses, and we're going to have to heat a few of them this winter, so we're not really in the mood for a shopping spree.
