smacky and bucky

This was supposed to be Indiana Jones, folks. He'd been offered--and accepted--the role. But the network wouldn't give him time off to make Raiders of the Lost Ark (he was under contract for Magnum, P.I.) so they went with Harrison Ford. Think about that for a second.


The promised thunderstorms never came yesterday, thank goodness, so I ended up mowing the entire lawn and cleaning the gutters. Then I got cleaned up and we took the dogs for a walk. There was nothing on TV last night so we watched a couple episodes of Magnum P.I. on the TiVo and I brushed the cats, removing their loose winter fur. If Buzz had to chose between a brushing and a bowl of food, he'd have a very tough decision. And he loves food. As soon as you lay a towel on the floor, he runs over to it and starts purring, anticipating the deep tissue massage that is the brushing. He even tolerated the pup laying next to him watching (of course, then the pup put a big clump of cat fur into his mouth and I had to say, "What the hell are you doing, stop that!" and remove it before he started chewing and swallowing. Sheesh.)
